Performs at International Trumpet Guild Conference

Marc Reese, head of the brass department of the
Conservatory of Music, and Douglas Major performed a
recital for trumpet and organ at the International
Trumpet Guild's annual conference in Amherst, Mass on
June 1.
In addition to music by Bernstein, Plog and Mussorgsky
Reese premiered a new piece for trumpet and organ by
James Stephenson entitled Reese's Piece - Sound and
Fury. Stephenson was in attendance for the premiere.
